Cambodia ratified the Convention on the Rights of the Child on 15 October 1992. Pursuant to Article 44 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Royal Government of Cambodia established the Cambodian National Council for Children (NCCC) in 1995 as a mechanism for coordinating and advising the Royal Government on work related to survival and development. Protecting, promoting the well-being and contribution of children. In 2009, the National Council of Cambodia for Children restructured and restructured, with the new structure reaching the provincial capitals and working groups for children in ministries and institutions. These adjustments are intended to facilitate the process of better implementation of Cambodian children's rights.
