Meeting to discuss and mobilize cooperation on fundraising, resources, and materials with ministries, institutions, and partner organizations to organize International Children's Day on 1 June 2026.

Office MoSVY: On the morning of March 26, 2026, the General Secretariat of the Cambodia National Council for Children (CNCC) organized a meeting to discuss and mobilize cooperation in fundraising, resources, and materials with ministries, institutions, and partner organizations to organize for the celebration of the 77th anniversary of International Children's Day, June 1; the 25th anniversary of the World Day Against Child Labor, June 12; and Cambodian Children's Day 2026.

The purpose of the meeting is (1) to discuss and review the selection of topics for June 1, 2026, to submit to the minister for review and decision; and (2) to mobilize cooperation, fundraising, resources, and materials from relevant ministries, institutions, and partner organizations to support some of the programs for June 1, 2026.

The meeting was chaired by Her Excellency Khiev Borey, Secretary of State of the MoSVY and Deputy Chairman of the Cambodia National Council for Children, and was attended by representatives of 40 participants from ministries, institutions, and partner organizations.

It should also be noted that to celebrate the occasion of June 1, 2026, the General Secretariat of the CNCC plans to organize some programs, including (1). Planning to produce a short video related to the progress of implementing children's rights in Cambodia (2). Planning to organize a forum for children and policymakers (3) Plan a TV talk show related to the progress of implementing children's rights in Cambodia and (4) Plan to organize the exhibition booth showcasing the achievements of children and youth in front of the MoSVY, etc.
