The Royal Government of Cambodia organized a solemn national gathering to celebrate the 75th anniversary of International Children's Day and Cambodian Children's Day 2024 and the 23rd anniversary of the World Day Against Child Labor on June 12 under the high presidency of H.E. Dr. Sar Sokha, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.



Koh Pich Theater, on the morning of May 30, 2024, the General Secretariat of the CNCC in collaboration with Ministries, Institutions, Non-Governmental Organizations, and the Private Sector, organized a solemn national gathering to celebrate the 75th anniversary of International Children's Day and Cambodian Children 2024 under the theme " Investing in children today aims to increase human capital in the digital era " and the 23rd anniversary of World Day Against Child Labor, June 12, under the theme "Together, Implement Commitment to End Severe Forms of Labor Children.”

The celebration was presided over by H.E. Dr. Sar Sokha, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, High Representative of Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN MANET, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and Honorary Chairman of CNCC. His Excellency Senior Minister Minister Ambassador Member of CNCC Governors of the Capital-Provincial Board of Governors, National and International Development Partners, Ladies and Gentlemen, Representatives of Ministries and Institutions, Representatives of Children from Public and Private Schools, and Children from Non-Governmental Organizations, a total of 3,000 people.

Please also note: Celebrating this day to commemorate the fundamental rights of the child, to show the strong commitment of the Royal Government of Cambodia to continue to promote the better implementation of the rights of the child, and to celebrate the achievements of the Royal Government of Cambodia as a signatory to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
