First Global Ministerial Conference on Ending Violence Against Children

Bogota, Colombia, November 7-8, 2024 Her Excellency Nhep Sopheap, Secretary of State, High Representative, H.E. Chea Somethy, Minister of Social Affairs, Veterans, and Youth Rehabilitation, led a Cambodian delegation composed of the Ministry of MoSVY, Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports, and General Secretariat of CNCC to attend the first global ministerial conference to end violence against children. The conference was attended by delegates from government agencies, UN agencies, international NGOs, civil society, and the private sector from 118 countries around the world and representatives of youth and children. A total of about 1,000 people.
