Consultation meeting on draft document of the commitment of the Royal Government of Cambodia in standing and consciousness participate in the fight violence against children.

Phnom Penh: On September 23, 2024, the General Secretariat of CNCC cooperated with relevant partner organizations to organize the consultation meeting on the draft statement of the commitment of the Royal Government of Cambodia in standing and consciousness to participate in the fight against violence against children.

The purpose of the meeting is (1) to review and provide input on the draft Declaration of the Royal Government of Cambodia's Commitment to the First World Ministerial Conference on Ending Child Violence in Bogota, Colombia, on November 7-8, 2024; and (2) to share experiences and best practices in relevant ministries and institutions on the implementation of the plan to end violence against children in Cambodia.

The meeting was chaired by H.E. Nhep Sopheap, Secretary of State, High Representative of H.E. Chea Somethy, Minister of Ministry MoSVY, and Chairman of the Cambodia National Council for Children. With the participation of Excellencies, Lok Chumteavs, Ladies and Gentlemen, Representatives of Ministries, Institutions, and Development Partners, as well as children and youth from relevant partner organizations, a total of 80 people.
