The General Secretariat of the CNCC, in collaboration with development partner organizations, organized the Consultative Meeting on Updating of the Recommendation of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child in relevant ministries, institutions, and partner organizations.



Cambodiana Hotel - December 17, 2024, the General Secretariat of the Cambodian National Council for Children (CNCC), in collaboration with development partner organizations, organized a consultation meeting on the updating of the recommendation of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child in relevant ministries, institutions, and partner organizations.

The purpose of this consultation meeting is to (1) understand the progress and challenges of implementing the recommendations of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child in ministries, institutions, civil society organizations, relevant partners, and networks led by children and youth. And encourage each other to continue to strengthen the implementation of recommendations better. (2) For ministries, institutions, and relevant partner organizations to share experiences in implementing recommendations and incorporating recommendations into action plans and budgets of stakeholders and (3) strengthen the capacity of relevant ministries, institutions, and organizations and a network led by children and youth to monitor, consult, and monitor the implementation of recommendations to improve.

The consultation meeting was chaired by Her Excellency Sorn Sabon, Undersecretary of State, High Representative of H.E. Chea Somethy, Minister of the Ministry of the MoSVY and Chairman of the CNCC, and was attended by Excellencies, Lok Chumteavs, Ladies and Gentlemen, and representatives from relevant ministries, institutions, and partner organizations. A total of 71 people attended the event.
