Launching ceremony for the implementation of the National Action Plan on the Prevention and Response to Violence against Children, 2025-2030.

Office of the MoSVY, October 6, 2025, the General Secretariat of the Cambodia National Council for Children (CNCC) In collaboration with Plan International Cambodia and a number of partner organizations, organized the launching ceremony for the implementation of the National Action Plan on the Prevention and Response to Violence against Children, 2025-2030.

The Launching ceremony was presided over by H.E. Khiev Borey, Secretary of State, High Representative of H.E. Chea Somethy, Minister of Ministry Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation (MoSVY) and President of the CNCC, and was attended by representatives from ministries, national and sub-national institutions, partner organizations, and youth and children, totaling 320 people.

Speaking at the launch ceremony of the National Action Plan, the Secretary of State said that the National Action Plan has improved the effectiveness of child protection by preventing and responding to all forms of violence against children in a timely and effective manner, as well as increasing interventions for children that are comprehensive and consistent with the legal norms that are being implemented, ensuring that Cambodian children live with warmth and smiles, and achieving an end to violence against children in line with the Sustainable Development Goals and contributing to the implementation of the ASEAN Action Plan on the Elimination of Violence against Children.
