The first ordinary meeting of the Cambodia National Council for Children, 7th mandate of the Royal Government of Cambodia.

 MoSVY—On the afternoon of April 10, 2025, the General Secretariat of the Cambodia National Council for Children (CNCC) organized the first ordinary meeting of the 7th mandate of the Royal Government of Cambodia.

The purpose of the meeting is (1) to inform about the achievements of the leadership of the Cambodia National Council for Children in 2024 for the period 2024-2028 and to request approval of the National Action Plan on Preventing and Responding to Violence against Children 2025-2030 and (2) to set the strategic direction of the CNCC and a roadmap for the General Secretariat of CNCC to promote the implementation of children's rights and child protection in accordance with national and international effectiveness in Cambodia.

The meeting was chaired by H.E. Chea Somethy, Minister of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation, and Chairman of the CNCC. A total of 56 Excellencies, Lok Chumteavs, Ladies, and Gentlemen were invited to attend.
