Training of trainers on guideline for applying child participation

Siem Reap, November 20-22, 2024, the General Secretariat of the Cambodia National Council for Children (CNCC), in collaboration with the Chab Dai Coalition, organized training of trainers on guidelines for applying child participation.

This training course is organized with the purpose of strengthening the knowledge of CNCC provincial level and members of Chab Dai Coalition to become trainers and have the ability to take the contents of the guideline for applying child participation to disseminate or implement in their respective organizations and promote children's participation by building the capacity of stakeholders who work with children.

The training was conducted under the chairmanship of Her Excellency Khiev Bory, Secretary of State of the Ministry of MoSVY, High Representative of H.E. Chea Somethy, Minister of Ministry of MoSVY, and the President of the Cambodia National Council for Children, with the participation of His Excellency Lok Chumteav, Ladies and Gentlemen, representatives from the departments and related organizations, a total of 40 people.

Please also note: After completing the training course, the trainers took the knowledge on the guidelines for applying child participation and disseminated it directly to the community in Sangkat Svay Dangkum and in Sangkat Kork Chak, Siem Reap city, Siem Reap province, with a total of approximately 60 participants working with children.
